Ich bin ein Berliner.

This is not a food blog. And I’m not an expat. Actually I was born in Berlin. And I’ve been living here now for quite a while. This is probably why people like to ask me things about Berlin – and I must admit I also like to tell. And I like to discover Berlin as if I was new to the city – but that’s a bit difficult for me, since I actually have to work here. And there is just too much to discover in ‘Nu Berlin‘.

I deliberately choose not to create content using AI. All texts are handwritten, and all photos are taken by me. I could certainly create content much faster and in much greater quantities if I used AI—but that is not the purpose of this website. I want to share my personal impressions, opinions, and recommendations here—and that’s simply best done without the use of so-called artificial intelligence. I might however use some tools (mostly deepl.com) to help me with the translations of texts. Ihope that is fine with you.
